Mercy's old ultimate Resurrect can be balanced

Mercy’s utility: res, every 30 sec, chances to pull it off-low. Reward - high (kept alive ONE teammate, while the others died because you couldn’t heal)

Ana’s utility: Nade, 12 sec cooldown, chances to pull it off (and doing 10000 things at once with it) - high because its splash type. Reward- high (keeping your ENTIRE/MOST team alive)

Sleep dart, 10 sec cooldown, chances to pull it off - mediocre, you dont usually need to sleep dart unless people are getting in your face and from there its easy. Reward - high (your life mostly)

Nano boost, 50-60 sec “cooldown” (depends on your capabilities), chances to pull it off - 100%. Reward - high (usually 3+ kills)

Now if we look at the healing numbers Moira and Ana by far outheal Mercy and Lucio’s amp is better than Valkyrie over the 1 minute.

Yes I hate the state Mercy is in right now. People that like Valkyrie design are either people who joined after the rework or didn’t play mercy and translate to her after the rework.

I despise the state she is in. She was fun, engaging and all that stuff until the January nerf. Now she is not engaging, she is not fun, she is not impactful after the latest nerf and most of all she can’t offer anything that other heroes can’t. (Even lucio gives TEAM WIDE mobility). I just don’t know why blizzard took her to this desolant place she is now

Damage boost exists. We can pretend it doesn’t, but it does and especially in conjunction with Zenyatta’s damage boost, remains deceptively powerful.

Resurrect has insane value; little beats bringing a teammate back from the dead. Bionade only reaches this value with the fattest nades, usually when Transcendence is shut down.

Also this isn’t a 100% occurrence in the slightest. You cannot generalize it.
I did say arguably and I do think that Ana could usurp it with the Nano changes but Mercy’s utility is almost, if not equally, as high. Which runs into problems when Mercy greatly outdoes Ana in mobility and, according to the numbers, healing. Moira is the only healer who outdoes Mercy in healing atm, which is fair as Mercy has more utility and mobility than Moira.

I find her current state mediocre at best. With her only redeeming entertainment quality being GA until that is nerfed as some have been and now are suggesting once more.

I love this idea, seems fair and balanced.

I can. From the 100 hrs I have on Mercy after the January patch 90% of the times I went for a res someone else died because they expected my healing.

Ana’s nade reaches such valued with even 2 teammates being hit. Healing increase + instant health is far better. Her sleep SURPASSES res’ value if you slept an ulting hero. Nano has this really… guaranteed value. It keeps a person alive for roughly 5 seconds before they need healing again. Then we can count the kills this person can get.

To bad that if you are a main healer as Mercy you won’t be able to dmg boost anywhere near as much anymore.

Just wanted to say it. The devs admitted mass res was balanced before the invulnerability patch it was just “Unfair to play against” (just like any other ultimate that is essentially a Q click. Oh wait. Thats all the ults)
