The first instance looks like she has an ally next to her, so that checks out, the second instance actually looks like a result of bunny hopping off the surface of the limo, which redirected her momentum upwards.
I’ll have to see a stricter breakdown of this working unreasonably and consistently before I consider this a game breaking bug. One of these instances just looks like a stretch of the GA super jump, the other looks like a combination of physics that goes beyond just GA’s influence. If there’s a video that shows more explicitly a superjump working without the normal conditions, showing it can be replicated without hyperniche circumstances like map geometry, then I can cave and say that in those specific instances, the mechanic is bugged.
But even then, at the end of the day, normal super jumps are not a bug. It’s a normal use of the mechanics. Your best argument is with that second super jump off the limo, which again seems like a combination of different factors than just a super jump.
Still waiting for the cross-hairs explanation because even if super jump was a bug, that’s where your passion lied when making this thread, and I just want to know that you know how GA actually works.

yes, it would be fine if she went 5 feet in the air, you can tell she is much higher than a basketball hoop
when GA works normally, Mercy ends up in the general vicinity of the person that she targeted with GA. If she does not end up in the general vicinity of the person she targeted, a bug has occurred.
Unless she falls of an edge or something you know. but yeah, she’s suppose to land next to (or close) to the person she GA’d to.

She can´t be damaged while flying to ally 
And yet I bet you wouldnt complain about Reaper´s teleport or Moira´s phasesift
which are actually BS abilities

I mean sure you could counter Reapers teleport before, but now you cannot do that.
Because for some reason he is completely silent to enemy while teleporting, and it makes suprise ults more common
and Moira just annoys me

I don’t like xQc, but I can’t argue with reason.
you can tell from the vid, the problem is that forward momentum is not conserved when the “glide” mechanic kicks in
you can’t GA, make a 90 degree turn, and then glide
Don’t really care. It’s a fun mechanic. It’s not easy to always pull off.

I just saw the video, to be honest it looks like the character she was GA to jumped off and she just hit Shift again, that isnt SJ, thats something that happens most times.
I saw the one where she hit shift the second time. but that’s not what happened on the other super jump
If you mean the part where he rages because the mercy got away and he was killed by a Genji, you can clearly see that her beam goes upwards and she takes the chance to GA, so she also goes upwards, then the genji she was connected to falls and she doesn’t because of angelic descent.
I’m not saying the mercy isn’t using de SJ in any part of the video, im just saying the only instance where there isnt a team mate present is when she does is what i explained above.

Did you see the Seagull, Danteh, idk all the other DPS Genji players, videos where Genji does a Ghost-slash-dash to maximize his damage per second? It’s the same principle, it’s an engine exploit.
Also XQC does it too when playing Winston, while in ult, he cancels the punch animation with a jump to maximize his damage in a shorter period of time.
Superjump is same principle. Mercy puts herself below teammate by crouching and then can jump past her teammate, which in this case is up, because she started below them.
