Mercy's damage boost outclasses every other dmg boost ability in the game

I don’t understand why so many think that damage boost and discord is equally good - to me discord is superior 90% of the match. Why?

• Focus fire is generally better than boosting one player as that player may miss, and even if they do hit it’s 30% from one target while discord basically gives 30% to everyone firing. Only time a damage boost is better is for ults like boosting Dragonstrike or Tac-Visor.
• Zen can discord a target, heal another and keep on doing damage himself virtually simultaneously. A Mercy that uses damage boost has to give up healing or doing damage herself, potentially resulting in situations where you either have to stop boosting to save a teammate or let them die in the hopes your targeted teammate can take more down from the enemy team.
• Damage boost is only really better for helping teammates build ult charge, but as can be seen looking at average stats most players are only able to boost around 700 dmg each game (so it doesn’t boost as much damage as generally perceived).

This is my view, some of these points are conveniently forgotten.
