Pharah should not the flying almost eternally. That is the issue here, not Mercy.

Yeeeeahh… I really wish they expanded upon her hard-light weaving, and let people go off the rails with weird barrier shapes and light ramps and stairs you can actually use. Floating platforms of light, etc.

Addition: Stop blaming Mercy for a gimmick the devs thought was interesting in development and refuse to back away from it. (And even repurposing the gimmick for another hero)

The devs during development found the way Mercy and Pharah interacted with one another interesting and decided to make it their whole gimmick-have Pharah rely on Mercy for better potential than most other DPS.

They proceeded to use this gimmick of a hero relying on Mercy for their top potential with Ashe.

I’m agreeing that it’s not Mercy’s fault but bad character design to NEED a reliance on another hero to reach peak value.

Ew please no. The last thing Mercy needs is to be encouraged to battle Mercy. Doing it on your own is okay, but to be forced to do it to get the most value out of the character us NOT

Moira literally HAS to do damage to gain her healing back though. Buffing mercies pistol won’t solve anything and will only cause more problems.

Mercy is already in a rough spot, i’m not sure why your so focused on her in this thread, she’s not the problem

Cause that’s not how Mercy plays. Moira HAS to DPS to refill her heals faster-and to be an anti-dive support.

Moira doesn’t have the ability to fly nearly unpredictably towards the enemy just because her teammate is there as well. Mercy’s current kit is a flankers dream. It would not be fun to play against, if she was just yet another half damage half heal support. The game has enough of that.

Devs: “We hear you loud and clear OP, so here’s the new Mercy rework.”

  • Caduceus Staff removed
  • Replaced with Caduceus Hammer
  • She smacks enemies for 80 damage and smacks ally’s for 90 healing
  • She can now GA to enemies for maximum smacking
  • ???

Yeah but biotic field is a regen over time, I’m talking about dropping healthpacks that can give burst heals
