There’s been a hidden Mercy nerf since launch. It has nerfed every hero in a sense, but Mercy is most affected by it. Her one and only defense ability remains left at the hands of poor team mates given to her by a joke called matchmaking. This is why many wanted “Valk” as E even prior to her rework. She didn’t hide because she saw an ice cream truck- her survivability was low at all ranks and needed to be guaranteed. But still there is compromise, --her highlight intro Battle Angel. An Ariel version of Fade, but instead of invisibility, a self heal -with the immunity old res gave her just like current fade gives Moira.
