Yeah I mean she’s already a bit of liability unless now played very well for her team, let’s not also turn her into an easy target. The skill of the kit is in mastering game sense and movement. Mercy is so much harder than people actually think it’s still amazing many confuse mechanics with actual play skill.
I personally main Tracer, McCree, Widow and Ana are my top 4 played heroes.
The correct line should be, the amount of copium by plat/diamond DPS incels who don’t know how to beat Mercy is astonishing.
Your broken hero needs some nerfs whether you like it or not. Weren’t you the one asking for pharah nerfs the other day? She is in that state because of mercy’s problematic low skill kit and don’t expect her to be nerfed again when mercy is the problem in the game.
Diamonds are also sick of mercy jail.

most people who hate Mercy in my experience hate her cuz she is a “girl hero”, it’s a way of venting their frustrations about girls, which is why I wrote that.
I’ve seen this phenomenon countless times and I was hardstuck Diamond for quite a while, I also used to semi-hate the hero (though not to a point where I could be classified as “incel”) then I got good, understood how to beat Mercy pocket and climbed, it’s actually fairly easy to beat her so it’s cringe for me to read the Diamond takes of DPS players high on Copium who try to find excuses of why they don’t climb.
Mercy is literally not even a great hero, 90% of the times as a Masters player I would rather have Zen or Brig rather than a Mercy 1 trick.
What even is this? Please tell me this is some bait/troll thread.
I think average DPS players are the most likely to blame their team/bad balancing for their own shortcomings, so I WISH this was bait but I actually think it’s sadly a serious thread LOL.
2nd highest pickrate support (top 25%) I don’t think I’d exactly just “mediocre”

Guardian Angel is not the problem and never has been.
Guardian Angel is the trade off against being able to do almost no damage. Mercy can’t fight back like other supports, not really. Her only option is to evade. And even her evasion won’t save her if she isn’t skilled with it That’s completely fair.
Having an unearned ultimate available every 30 seconds … That’s not ok, and the real issue w mercy.

Mercy is no overpowered though, every support apart from Moira is used roughly the same amount
Bap/Lucio/Brig/Ana/Zen/Mercy are all used around 13-18% And Mercy is in the lower end of that % Meanwhile Moira is less than 3% lol
also if Mercy didn’t have guardian angel she would be literally DPS Lunch in most cases unless they changed her weapon being deployed faster. However, Guardian angel should NOT be removed, there is nothing wrong with the ability.
Do you also want Fade removed because Moira escaped you?

That applies to every main to an extent I notice. When I thought genji was bad probably a year and a half ago, I got labelled as a delusional genji main many times despite him being my least played DPS. I also got called a ‘biased ana main’ when I didnt think she was OP around the same time too
