I’m not one to complain ever and honestly I didn’t even mind what state mercy was in. When I saw they slowed her down, this has to be the dumbest thing ever. Mercy gets hate left n right and to make her slow has to be the worst thing ever. She is just a standing target and you are forced to pick the movement perk now. I think it’s just a ridiculous.

Do you ever notice how mercy almost always has the least deaths in the lobby by far? That’s because your average dps player finds her too difficult to hit so they just ignore her and shoot what they can hit. And these are usually players who’ve been playing a long time too. Now imagine being a new player. That’s why they nerfed her mobility.
The game has seen a major influx of new players and Mercy is a gatekeeper. New players quickly learn that supports are prime targets and Mercy is just zipping around the map like crazy. I think it’s fair. Maybe the speed wasn’t the best option, I would have preferred a cd nerf but it is what it is.
As a ball main, I just want my dps to shoot mercy again like they used to in 2017 so I don’t have to chase her down all the time with no assistance. Idc if she’s good or not, it’s annoying. Mercy mains needa learn how to take a nerf. You guys do this every single time she’s nerfed even the slightest bit lol it’s not that big a deal, you got some nice buffs too.

To be fair, they will not shoot at her as she goes for a stationary revive in front of them either. But we are not nerfing that! Which would be a more sensical nerf…

Mercy being fast has never bothered me. Her being able to move while using revive, revive through walls, and revive from crazy ranges after being booped by lucio/ball are the things that make me not want to play against the character.
The reason I hate playing with Mercy players is they are often the most hardcore of all one tricks in spite the fact she is one of the worst supports to be paired with several other supports. Try playing any tank into Ana + zen when you have lucio + mercy.
Also the most extreme toxic players I have run into are all mercy OTPs. Also mercy OTPs are the people most likely to hard pocket their friend and refuse to help anyone else.
The whole Mercy Mafia thing isn’t a joke that came from nothing.

We need to stop spreading this false information. Middle of the pack winrate wise with a very high pickrate is not “bad shape”. She had the second highest winrate in Diamond/Masters for supports.
They also buffed her by giving her flashheal. Whether it was a net nerf or a net buff remains to be seen. Either way, you can’t just give a hero a new ability and not expect compensation nerfs.

They just gave you 50 damage on conc, something that they removed before at 30 damage because it was too strong. But it’s also easier to hit because it has a larger radius than it did when it was even 30 damage.
Not to mention her major perk.
You can literally one shot people right now as pharah when you have both damage perks.

Yea funniest thing is the one shot combo is now even easier because now you don’t need to speed blitz em… just shoot the rocket and the conc missile at the same time!

Like I genuinely thought they couldn’t get lazier with perks… I was wrong. Pharah just has two perks that quite literally are just “this thing does more damage”. Like??? It’s like they forget that characters’ have the damage numbers they do for a reason.

FR, she didnt need that nerf of healing and movement. There are characters like Kiriko that have both and dmg, and they are not getting nerfed
