I’ve watched the video, and I’m not convinced Mercy is impactful. In the video, Luminum is missing most of his shots during valk and didnt heal and if it was a ping issue, then why bother trying to pistol rather than being more useful. His team was also good enough to not even bother getting heals too, which doesn’t solidify that mercy is impactful when his team handled 90 percent of the team battles on their own. I personally dislike Valk as an ult because it’s dull and boring. If they integrated beam juggling during valk then it would probably make the ult more skillful and feel impactful. Beam juggling was one of the fun things about mercy when she had 60hp/s. They can increase the main heals during Valk to maybe 70 hp/s and the people being chained lowered to 35 hp/s. Numbers could of course change but you get my idea of beam juggling as this would have mercy constantly juggle her beams to keep the next person alive. It should feel like an ult. I would love it if they made mercy higher skill too. And yes there are ways to make her higher skill without the need to aim. Another thing I forgot to mention, Lumi mentions several things we need to keep doing as mercy during the control room point. The problem with that is I already used my pistol when necessary and move around a lot to the next person who needs me way before the rework. I just do not enjoy mercy’s current ult and hate res on cd. I prefer res being earned through her strengths which is survivability. GA has always been fun, but res as an ability makes GA feel sluggish. The other thing is super jump and it makes a huge difference and fun but once it gets “fixed”, I think that’s the end of me playing mercy unless they make adjustments to her to keep her exciting.
