Isn’t it lore that Mercy has age resistant tech?
Pretty sure it is also lore accurate that skins, emotes, and other cosmetics mean nothing to the game
But people seem to need something more to be mad at for some reason
Yes she can be my mommy…
Sorry what was the question?
She is 40 and women can wear what they want at any age. What are you…like 10 to think this way?
I apologize for nothing.
I’m Mercyless when it comes to puns.
i think the old lore stated she is nearly 81 i think but uses biotic fluid to reverse her aging process massively. buuuuut i saw that ages ago so dunno if it is still canon.
She pushing 60 dunno what you on about
She’s literally 39 as of the events of Overwatch 2.
It’s really that simple.
The events of Overwatch 2 which have been happening for 10 years
Bruh she 50
Yeah, what the heck?! That hag Mercy should have her wings clipped and have a skin appropriate for her grandma age (39, wow, old much?!). Idk, like gray hair and a rollator. Okay, if worse comes to worst I’d accept a cane.
No, according to Blizzard it’s only been 2 years in Overwatch lore. Not 10.
Mercy looks like the character that skin is based on. That’s really all there is to it. Persona isn’t a music game.
Its saddening seeing yall actually bothered and arguing over some skins …
Devs releasing character ages is their biggest blunder. There is just too many inconsistencies.
– Kiriko would need to be in her late 30s if not in her 40s for her backstory to make any sense where Shimada is involved
– Won’t go too much into this awkward thing, but just mention that Sojourn-related story makes it so that one of those involved had her kid at 14
yeah… you know it’s wild when you can deduce things like above by doing simple math. Just forget about ages. All OW1 heroes can still have their OW1 default skins with no age difference. Ana can miraculously get 40 years younger. So can S76. Just let it go.

Are you seriously telling me, that this is depicting Kiriko meeting an adult Genji, and an adult Hanzo? No. No reasonable person would say that, because it obviously isn’t. Being as charitable as possible (though I think it’s still very much a stretch), you could say they are teenagers, but by no means are they depicted as adults here. (Which they would have had to be, given that Genji would have been about 17 or 18 by the time Kiriko was just learning to walk…)
when the Omnic Crisis ended, before Overwatch was even founded
It was literally founded during the omnic crisis as a direct response to it.

We don’t know the ages of Kiriko, Genji and Hanzo in that picture. The picture I was referring to was the picture of them training. Kiriko may not even be 5 at the point when the three are first introduced. She may be younger. So Hanzo in that picture could be anywhere from 23 to 25, while Genji could be 20 to 22.
And again, given the style of drawing and the lack of detail, we cannot accurately determine their ages in these drawings. You’re still grasping at straws.

I stand corrected on that point then.

This is just flat out inaccurate. Whoever told you that Sojourn’s sister had a kid at that age is wrong.
Sojourn has a single twin sister, meaning they are the exact same age, and when the Omnic Crisis started, her niece was 5 years old while she was 23. That means her twin sister is also 23, and she gave birth to Sojourn’s niece at the age of 18.
We don’t know the ages of Kiriko, Genji and Hanzo in that picture.
Anyone who has functioning eyes would be able to see the difference is several years tops, not even a decade. I get it, Kiriko fans want to roll with the “young” image of her, but if we go by all the lore then it’s simply not true.
Age has no meaning in OW universe anyways, perhaps only visual - but otherwise heroes like Ana/Rein/Sig didn’t become any “worse” with age and can perform remarkable physical feats that even the best 17-18 y.o. athletes won’t dare to even dream about.

Again, no details on the drawings, distant figures – it’s quite literally a watercolour picture. We don’t even know who made them, and we don’t know the ages of anyone in the pictures.
We can guess, but short of that it could literally just be artistic licence, with whoever made the pictures deciding to make them all look younger rather than accurately depict their ages in the same way a photograph would.
You’re reaching at straws because you think the lore is inaccurate.

And? If you think someone like Reinhardt, who has clearly kept in shape, couldn’t fight the way he used to, I don’t think you understand how the ageing process functions.
My dad is in his 70s; he’s still capable of fighting and could easily keep up with other younger men if he had to. It’s when you get into your mid-80s to 90s that the body really starts to slow down, unless you’ve lived a rather relaxed lifestyle or were badly injured. That’s when you start to realise you can’t do the things you used to.

Heh, if there was ever an example of trying extremely hard to refute a direct evidence - this is one. But - hey, I believe that you believe in whatever you want to believe. That doesn’t make it true though.
The image is clear, the lore is inconsistent, the ages are broken. There’s nothing to debate here.
