OW1 will not exist once OW2 launches. All owners of OW1 will automatically update their games to OW2, mandatorily. There isn’t a way to avoid it.
The only purchased content in OW2 for OW1 owners is the PvE campaign.
So, we’re not going to get new heroes until OW2 launches, that much is correct. But OW1 owners won’t just be “left behind”. The playerbases will be merged.
Why is it that someone pops almost every day to tell me this, Yes I know. When I refer to OW1 I mean 6v6 with the update history from beta to current day.
OW2 is when the 5v5 update actually hits with a Sequels worth of content.
At this point it’s almost a copy pasta.

Casino and King look cool, I’d like to see them in the game. I doubt we’d get any of them, though. Unpopular opinion, but Overlord is definitely my least favourite.
To be fair, we didn’t know about any of these pilots either before the short.
I really like King’s stance compared to the other mechs.

These are so cool, really hope all 4 of them get added to the roster someday. Some could argue that it’d be mech hero bloat but each meka design looks so unique and different from each other that I think it’d be fine and super fun really.
Because the only time we could see them is in OW2….and you know

Being part of a squadron always implied that there were other pilots that were recruited the same way she was. With that it’s easy to infer the possible relationship dynamics.

I imagine she’ll be able to fly and attack at the same time like Dva. Imagine pharahmercy both being countered by Dmon of all characters lol. Sword makes me think it’s possible
