Does anyone know if Overlord is a boy or a girl? I’m not Korean, but apparently their name is feminine

So is d the start of their esports team name? and then they named themselves according to that? or are their names just similar?

He’s a boy, Michael Chu clarified this on twitter. There are 3 boys and 2 girls, with D.Mon and D.Va being the girls (can’t believe I have to clarify that but you never know with the internet these days).

So MANY OPTIONS for a meka full DPS or main tank even a support
So many lovable characters
So many pretty faces that would fit 10000% ingame

God this is so true. All I want is just a normal, new, good guy dude. All the new characters have been gals besides Hammond who is a HAMSTER, and Doomfist who is a villain. Like please Blizzard, put Casino or King into the game and I’ll be happy.
Like, I understand that they want their characters to be diverse, but I’d rather a bunch of pretty faces than a hamster. (I mean cool voice, but still, he’s a hamster)

Did anyone notice anything interesting with the team’s last battle? :thinking:
I think D.Mon and Overlord got taken out of the last battle but the question is how and why?
What happened in the last fight?

Evidence 1: In the flash back, D.Va hears a male “I can’t see anything” followed by a female “I’M HIT!”

Evidence 2: In this shot, we see D.Mon and Overlord’s Meka wrecked from the battle that they “almost” lost. If I am to over analyse this, D.Mon’s right arm of the mech is destroyed which is her shield arm. Was she protecting Overlord or someone?

Google says Seung-Hwa is a unisex name, but as someone else stated already, Overlord is a male.

This is actually kinda funny as if they are intentionally made like that.

Don’t tell me they can put at least a piece of plastic there.

And another thing that bugs me: why the mechs even have legs if they are mostly used to fly over water?
