Mei Voice Actor being harassed

Ignorant angry mob seems to be the theme.
We should really strive to use reason individually a bit more.

Highly doubt those that are harrassing her are involved with the movement. They’re most likely hateful people with no lives looking for a reason to harass others.

agreed, people Must be careful because they can harm others by mistake people think its Easy and a small thing for China Its a Big thing and wont be easy for anyone from China or Lives in china involved into this support hong kong but don’t harm others and don’t attack others because they have a different opinion or disagree with you, countries all over the world does stuff Like china and Worse and many Other Companies does worse than blizzard but the Idea here is that you should support Hong Kong and make blizzard understand that Money and china wont be so important when it loses half of its community , so support hong kong or don’t support it do what you want but don’t harm others or attack others…

That’s not showing support for China over Hong Kong. It’s her celebrating her countries equivalent of the 4th of July, and was made before what happened even went viral.

Yeah, I said it was the Tweet that got people got off their nuts.

I never did say it was the Tweet that proves she is pro Chinese government.

Or maybe I word it wrong… cause there are attacking replies on the tweet.

Difference is in the US you can talk all the crap you want about your country and be fine. In china thats a death sentence

And in S Arabia you cant drink alcohol
In Russia you cant smoke weed
In S Korea you cant say good things about North or visit Casino. Anywhere.
In China public persons recommended to restrain from politics
In Singapore you cant chew a bubble gum lol

Guess what, world is not US and US is only a small part of it. You should not expect everyone follow same rules.

The poster mentioned the US which was why I mentioned it. Again I live in Japan so I am well aware the US isnt everything. Please read the whole context next time. Thank you

Technically, I believe it was this part that really bothered some people:

They certainly shouldn’t be involving her though, much less expecting her to express a negative view given the potential consequences.

Sorry, I was using US as an example. I am not from US either.

its like they want to force her into this lol

NOBODY should be bothering the Voice Actors of this game. They are a NEUTRAL party and have ZERO decision making in the company.

  • They do NOT control Character design.
  • They do NOT control what the company says or does.

You are right, however her being in china and voicing a character currently being used as a freedom symbol puts her in the crossfire against her will
