Who cares, its only one of more pointless “QoL” they have done.
At least in OW1 we could see their endorsement levels, now with this new OW1 alpha version HUD we have to “snipe” their career profile.
Endorsement level doesn’t matter as much as it did in overwatch 1. For Overwatch 1 endorsement level 5 gave you 4 loot boxes. In overwatch 2 you just get 5000XP.
Endorsement is a useless feature that means nothing anyways. It was pointless in ow1, and its pointless in ow2.

ive got level 3 and i trash talk everybody all game, just have to make cool looking plays.

Been at it between 3 and 4 mostly by flexing, altho I mostly play Junkrat or Zen in most of my games lol.

You what OP…? I typically ONLY play with people endorsement level 3/4
lol I’ve literally had multiple times where I finish a game and it says “Congradulations on promoting to Endorsement 3!” and then when I hit the main menu it says “Dropped Endorsement level 3 to 2.”. It’s not really a big deal but there’s zero balance or reasoning for it. Honestly they should just remove it.
I used to pingpong between 3 and 4 in OW1, i went up and down every few days.
Now, i pingpong between 2 and 3, and it goes up and down multiple times within only a few hours.
Endorsement isnt really important as it is, but on top of that it seems so arbitrary and fluctuates way too much, so any significance it would otherwise have is out the window.
(also, people have LOWER endorsement if they have actual friends they regularly play with. thats just another level of illogical)

I have been endorsement level 4 now for several months without dropping down to 3. It probably helps that in the last couple months I have only played arcade and I am also a mercy one trick. Lately I only play for like half an hour a day. It’s definitely possible to stay 4 even not saying anything in chat, and I’ve not been below 3 ever since hitting it way back at the start of the endorsement level.

Meanwhile i got level 2 at the end of a play session one evening and when i got on the game the next day it went down immediately 
like bro what did i do am i not allowed to go in the practice range???

They rewarded BP XP though, but grinding XP through Daily / Weekly / Seasonal are already good to go.

Yea but I use to get a boatload of loot boxes that way… I loved bouncing back and forth.
the problem is that i always play with at least 2 other friends, sometimes even 5 stack.
we cant endorse each other, and people never really endorse opponents.
which is just silly. if you gather less endorsement due to being a social person and having actual friends that like you and play with you… the system isnt doing its job lol.
genuinely thinking they goofed up and made exiting the practice range equivalent to leaving an actual game in regards to endorsement decay lol somebody should investigate this.
