Why does Mauga charge cancels reins charge lol the f
everything cancels reins charge wdym?
well rein charging rein they both fall, rein charging mauga rein stops but mauga keeps going
Mauga cannot be knocked back or stunned during his charge. He essentially has Orisa’s fortify ability during charge and acts like a wall for Rein’s charge.
TBF Maugas skill does say it makes him unstoppable. While Rein’s obviously is very stoppable.
Mauga’s charge has always had super armor
Rein’s charge deals a ton of damage, so it’s not unstoppable. Mauga’s charge just moves him to some other place. Well, if you are skilled and lucky you can land a tiny stun on enemy.
Mauga’s Overrun can do up to 150 damage per target; potentially more damage than Charge. It’s also much more frequent because of the lower cooldown.
It’s hypertelegraphed and slow. It’s one of the hardest skillshots to land in the game.
Mauga pin? I wouldn’t say all that given that low mobility heroes literally cannot do anything about it.
Idk am I crazy mauga charge crits aren’t particularly hard to land (depending on the target of course)
They can just move to the side and stomp will only slightly boop them. You don’t need mobility to do that.
And mauga can just turn…? Mauga has even more control than rein pin using his charge
The hitbox on the crit is not that tight all things considered
Against an ana or zen it’s basically a free stun + 180 damage very consistently
Only if they don’t pay attention. Mauga jumps forward and has zero air control.
I guess masters players never pay attention because it’s a pretty easily consistent thing to hit
Maybe you are secretly #1 Mauga player, but I don’t see many Mauga stuns at all in my games.
So is Charge.
If there was a racing contest, Overrun would start up faster, but Charge would overtake Overrun after a few seconds. But neither lasts long enough.
Charge will travel 50 meters, and Overrun will travel 35. Overrun is on a shorter cooldown, so it’ll outpace Charge’s distance.
Of course, most of this is irrelevant information.
About the same, really. Neither can really turn on a dime.
It’s Mauga’s one-shot combo that pretty much all Tanks get to have.
Overrun’s stomp is pretty wide, so it isn’t super strict on landing, pretty forgiving actually. But it can be hard to get the full 150 damage out of it.
Not sure if Charge is harder to pin a target or Overrun’s stomp max damage is harder. Might be about the same. Mauga will have more chances with it, though, and Rein can get environmental kills with Charge.
Not the stun part. Making one jump to the side away even from perfectly aimed stomp places you outside stun range. The only thing Mauga can actually do is hope to bump into his target first to send it flying a little bit and then land a stomp right away, while target’s mobility is limited by not being in contact with ground. (It needs accurate head-on collision though)
They can’t but mauga charge turns roughly twice as fast. He can turn 180 degrees in the 2 second duration whereas rein can do 135 degrees in 3 seconds by my estimates
Can’t turn on a dime but it is significantly more maneuverable
