In the second our GM player left our group, we got managable games again.
My team mate, who was the weak link, actually ended up getting Diamond, higher than me, lol. Remember that this guy was 2100 and 2200 in DPS and Healing respectively. He was just barely Plat in Tank.
Against more managable opponents he did fine, when on his best heroes.
Trust me, these were good players 
I have played since release and have been in diamond myself and is currently high plat.
