This. I tried it out recently, I created a brand new alt account for the first time ever and did about 8 matches. They were all filled with a mix of smurfs, new players and actual real BOTS. The scoreboard was always extremely lopsided with like 30 elim / 15k dmg Genjis on the same team as a 3e/5k Soldier.
It was then I realized that smurfing really makes every effort to fix the matchmaker very difficult, if not impossible. Especially now since it’s unlimited and free to smurf (unlike cosmetics which are now paid and limited…)
