Gold 4 to plat 4 is less of a measure of skill than of play time that season. I wouldn’t worry about that kind of spread. That’s not even a wide group as far as matchmaking goes.
But it’s not like things dropped off at 3PM, things plummeted at 8PM.
And why are all of the stupid baby morons on MY team and never on the enemy team?
not even close. the game allows you to group with people with twice that gap before it even considers it wide.
I felt this, I played in the morning before work and game was normal. Most of my games after work were absolutely ridiculous and rage inducing. Genuine new player on my team at one point, they kept swapping heroes and using abilities on the way to the point to try them out, very low level heroes, all default skins.
I saw them toss Lifeweaver’s petal platform across the map then stand there to try and work out what they’d just thrown.
