idk what you mean about masters/grandmasters are right about bad tanks, but I totally agree that bad tanks can lose the game but so can dps or support.
this is my opinion and im in silver so it might not be correct or mean anything to anyone but I think the tanks control the flow of the game. if the tanks want to take it slow and aren’t on mic as a support main … im taking it slow. if the tanks want to be aggressive then im following them in.
I cant count how many times I have lost a game because the dps are pushing up past the tanks and although they get a pick or two they die and me and the tanks are sitting at the choke getting pounded.
so who is to blame there? its super easy for the tanks to blame the dps or the dps to blame the tanks or god forbid the dps blaming the supports for not following them in to their deaths.
so to me in solo que low elo I stay behind the tanks and try to get the dps to follow the tanks lead.
you can be mechanically skilled but if you are playing against your team you will still lose.
I just had a game on Hollywood were the tanks sat at the choke for to long and the dps kept diving in getting a pick and dying and blaming the tanks. saying “I got a pick why aren’t the tanks moving up”. I wont deny it they were bad tanks but if the dps played with them it might have gone better.
