I don’t see the obvious throwing. They killed the Ana AND Sigma as baby Dva at the time posted. Pharah ulting right after that and dying to a Genji of all heroes is why you lost that fight. Not because of the Dva.
They seem to be thinking I’m complaining about the loss and/or laying all the blame on the D.Va. But I really don’t care about the loss, and while sure there were probably other factors, I do know that if the D.Va hadn’t been throwing, we might have/probably would have won. Because she was throwing we really stood no chance. But in the end, that doesn’t really matter here. What matters is that this happens at all.
This person was allowed to ruin dozens of games and will probably ruin dozens more. Because most lower ranked players don’t really understand the game, they don’t see that D.Va and think she’s throwing because they don’t think about the 0 mitigation and the odd behavior. They just see she got some kills. I only know to look for stuff like that because my game knowledge is much higher than my ability to execute it lmao.
Except I think our Ana realized it like I said because she seemed to give up. I don’t have text chat on or I’m sure it would have been a treat lol.
You don’t see her never using defense matrix.
You don’t see her never supporting her team?
You don’t see her just running in to purposely get demeched and then either die or squash as baby d.va and staying alive only when I choose to pocket her or because the enemy team is gold and has much less awareness than she does?
At this point you’re just being purposely obtuse for the sake of being contrarian.

Proving intent to throw a match is borderline impossible. Unless someone is sitting in spawn or walling you off you can’t prove it. There are thousands of soft throwers in this game. 9 out of 10 Reddit Lucios are soft throwing. You can’t prove it even though you know it.
Also you have to remember there were still rank resets this season. Maybe they got misplaced and got cocky a bunch of golds and you guys threw away a free win? You never know.
Being MASTERS in a GOLD game means you have thrown and then obviously in this case, she WAS throwing.
What part of this do you not grasp?

You didn’t see/hear the most important part at 5:11? It’s a split second! If you blink you might miss it!
I can’t prove it but I would bet my house this thread would not have been made if you won the match. I’ll go now lol.
Even then it’s irrelevant, they had zero mitigation playing a hero that can very easily mitigate a ton of damage. That’d be like a Ana/Bap having zero healing 
they must’ve unbound the button to stop themselves reflexively matrixing something lol

Man is beyond help. Feeding to get kills is not popping off but you can’t tell them that because they probably do the same thing themselves. Though in their case it’s probably not intentional.

Probably - LhCloudy did unranked to GM with no shield - I don’t think he made it out of low masters to be honest but I can imagine how pissed everyone must have been along the way.
Firstly at the fact it’s a GM, secondly at memeing at that rank.

There are very few OW streamers who do Unranked to GM that I respect. I mean, those who make it legitimately educational, and aren’t just showing off stomping in metal lobbies. That said I also find it hilarious that the new trend is to just give up on the ‘run,’ once they realise they’re in GM lobbies and are having to sweat for their wins.
It really separates the legitimately cracked streamers from the also-rans.
That’s the only way that I would have been able to do it lol.
I used to think that it was okay to do that as long as you made a good trade, but as time has gone on I’ve realized no, I really shouldn’t take that flank with Cree cause even if I get their Ana I’m going to die, and what if I don’t get her, then I just died for no reason.
I just don’t even know how that’s fun. Like I get there is a novelty component to it but it’s like they just don’t give a crap about how many games they ruin, either by deranking or by crushing people with no chance on their way back up. Like that really ruins the game for all involved. People get SR they don’t deserve, and people lose SR they might not have lost.
The sad thing is that this can’t even be an unranked to GM because they were already ranked master’s last season. So no matter what they had to throw to get to where they are now. That’s specifically why I reported them for deranking. I really hope it does something,
I’ve been playing this game for six years and the low ranks have ALWAYS been infested with smurfs. People don’t believe that people throw and stay down there and ruin games or whatever but I struggled in the lowest of the low ranks for a long time and now I hover between gold and plat which is fine for me. So I’ve SEEN it and one thing I noticed with OW2 is that a lot of those accounts DID disappear. Usually when I see a endorsement 1 account it’s an actual new player and you can tell from the way they are playing. In OW1 an endorsement 1 account was almost always a thrower or a super toxic individual (might as well be the same thing).
So now when I see this crap it annoys me a bit more than it used to because I’ve gotten into the flow of actually being able to play without having people actively throwing lol, they’re usually just bad. This is so not that.
The sad part is, this Dva is still more competent than most tanks in Gold despite throwing…
It just seems odd that they didn’t use DM at least sparringly to hide the fact they are throwing.

So it’s like… I just don’t get how you can actually be good at this game and then do stuff like this on purpose. Maybe I just have too much pride or something lol. That and I don’t like purposely ruining other people’s fun. It does nothing for me. I made a ‘smurf’ account once in Hearthstone (am legend ranked lol) and I was bored with it after like 10 matches it was just too easy and I felt like a piece of doodoo.
I don’t know how many players in mid ranks besides the odd ones like me would even notice. I’m always checking stats and trying to figure out where the holes are, especially if I’m having a hard time keeping people alive.

Take it from someone who has been playing FPS and RTS games for as long as the genres have existed. Who has played in very high skill-brackets, and knows many people who are doing so right now. Smurfing is absolutely normal and exists in every competitive game and will always do so.

Most people have very little idea of what goes on in lower or higher ranks. It’s all just larping and theory-crafting. Most people just play, peak at their ‘natural,’ skill-bracket, and stay there forever.
