this is a bit generic. i mean, there are really so many types of players who have different preferences (look at the useless feuds of those who want 6v6 or 5v5 excluding one of the two options in absolute terms). the game is not collapsing because of unheard feedback but simply because it is disorganized and continues to prove itself disorganized or uncertain. monetization has changed too many times, statements on hard countering have always been placed in a different and opportunistic way, the lore continues to proceed as in 2016 (only through the new heroes), no one dares to mention PVE or any type of story mode option⌠people are tired.
from Rivals Overwatch can improve the technical aspect of some ideas that other video games have developed better. an example of this is the current ping system, which came after the very strong positive feedback from the community a few years ago about wanting it in overwatch too. From rivals I could take as an example some organizational aspects, like the stats of the skills always updated (instead of only being in the patch notes or having the amateur wikis do it) or more valorization to the way people discover the lore of the heroes IN GAME (again, not through the wikis or an accidental curiosity on the official website.
There would be other small examples, but basically it is not âlistening to the communityâ the problem, because not even the community knows what it wants and it shows from the fact that some even complain about the possible coexistence of 6v6 and 5v5.

I was hoping that at first, but MR is steadily losing players over time, players who most likely came from Overwatch and are going back to it.
Itâs starting to slowly push me away and back to Overwatch too. Admittedly, I think the reason I swapped was because it was novel and fresh and I like the IP, but the balance and many other things are pushing me away from it.
Although competition makes markets better, the problem is that Blizzard is so beyond lost that they canât compete ever again. Leadership and HR is infected with culture rot and thereâs nothing they can do about it since theyâre not going to fire themselves. They donât have vision, drive or competency to compete anymore.

I think the issue is there is not a honest conversation rather trying to manipulate ow using rivals.
I would have been onboard with that if ow was in stronger state and hands like Jeff.
Those boomers generally get back up stronger when punched, younger millennials and gen z are not , they are weak and will throw their hands and give up, you canât rule them up into action, you have to cajole them and pamper them and tell them they can do it and motivate them to get even half the things done.
Currently in the scenario they are in with a younger team , less staff and under microsoft known for dismantling and throwing ips and studios like arkane tango out , i would be very vary of demotivating them too much.

How many matches do you have on Hawkeye actually.
Even if you do enjoy him itâs a far stretch to say he is better than hanzo in gameplay loop or design just cause he is easier to hit with and that seasonal bonus.

I do not even enjoy playing Reinhardt anymore. Thatâs the problem. When I said he was the last thread tying me to Overwatch, I meant it. I desperately need a hero that I can attach to or I am not going to have fun. And maybe thatâs why I am overly obsessed with Mahvel.
Dr. Strange or Invisible Woman are some of my favorite heroes. They remind me of better times. Even before Overwatch. That just makes me feel so happy.
