From what I’ve seen, it looks like Marvel rivals players are having more fun playing their game than we overwatch players. I wonder if that’s true

I haven’t played Marvel Rivals after I tried it for a few hours back when it was released, so I can’t speak to how fun it is currently. What I can say is that my friends who did play Marvel Rivals stopped playing it, whereas I’m still playing Overwatch. Whether that speks to Overwatch being fun, or me being mentally ill, I’ll leave for you to judge.

why would you play a game you don’t enjoy? I’d assume all people who play Overwatch does so because they enjoy it. Otherwise they’d stop and play something else

So i decided to give MR another go past couple days and put in a couple hours.
The game itself is a mess, gameplay is mostly just smash your face against a keyboard type game play but itd obvious that its a super casual game not to be taken seriously so you can just go in do that and get the rush of spamming all your abilities and seeing all the flashy colours.
Overwatch i still do my dailies it is By far the better more polished game of the two, its just absolutely ruined by the players that play it who genenerally make OW a a terrible experience.
In its current state I’d actually say MR is the more enjoyable game.

I’m really glad that I wasn’t branded at birth as an Overwatch player or as a Ravils player. It’s nice being able to boot up whichever game I feel like playing most, and not be forced into choosing one or the other by Fate herself.
I picked up Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era from the Steam Summer Sale. It’s only in early access, but I’m enjoying the campaign mode so far. It’s been years and years since I played this genre, so there’s a bit of nostalgia in it for me.

i like both and i played marvel like 2 days ago to try jubilee and the widow rework, havnt since. kinda thinking about it but kinda lazy and yea was playing sombra just now
if they had a hero EXACTLY like sombra i would play that game more

they do have moira so thats cool (scarlet witch) and they USE TO HAVE widow (black widow) but now she is punisher 2.0
the one hero shooter i havnt PLAYED IN FOREVER is Paladins. kinda feel sorry for that game but i guess in the hero shooter genre there can ONLY BE TWO. a master and an aprentice. dont know who is the master or aprentice tho…?
i am a big fan of luna snow, i’d probably play her more over jubilee for sure

It is a casual game whose playerbase is majority casual (which is fine btw). Of course they’re having fun.
I find it fun to play Rivals for the 6v6 OQ and outright chaos you get in a lot of matches.

Season 9 is very fun the new team up overhaul has really sparked my excitement for the game again.

this would seem like a personal choice
As someone who plays both, absolutely not. Rivals latest update feels awful. It has gotten to the point where it’s sometimes hard to tell what is even happening on your screen because of all the VFX slop and ability spam. The team up changes are really just perks except worse. I hate it.
I don’t know man. Like I played Rivals for several hours yesterday. It’s just not as good as Overwatch. Nothing dies! It’s getting worse. Too much clutter, bad UI, it’s a shop with a game attached.
I liked Rivals, but I don’t like their direction currently.
