Marvel rivals honeymoon phase is over

MR isn’t the only game came to destroy OW but despite all the hate OW never gave up .
i always said MR cannot go beyond its hero limit but when it’s comes to OW they can release hero’s and make new lore into it … that way OW has better chance of surviving every new hero shooting game .

in few more months or a year MR will be completely loose large amount of player’s due to UE5 optimization issues and Hero Limitations,

Yup, here we go with the “haha, look they got less viewers”.

tbh its not the viewers , its the players that stop playing MR due to no role queue and also technical things such as UE5 Optimization issues . MR doesn’t have its own game engine like OW . and NetEase dev’s has ignoring their player’s requests .
MR doesn’t have bright future

Of all the disingenuous, misinformed comments in this thread, yours is probably the worst just for that part.

read the article on “fandomwire” then talk

No way that was your reply.

EDIT:

The comment on the article is more cogent than the article itself.

that was my reply . if you have your own opinion then you can type here … its a forum not your game chat …

looks like we found a MR glazer

I’m a glazer of rational thought. I’m a fan of Overwatch and Rivals. I prefer Rivals. If that makes me a glazer, so be it.

But saying Netease doesn’t listen to the players, when they’ve listened to feedback repeatedly, and made changes - sometimes within days - repeatedly, is extremely disingenuous.

To you, though, it seems that since they’ve said no to role queue, that means Netease doesn’t listen at all. For what it’s worth, I don’t want them to add role queue.

I don’t want the instalock 4 dps teams either, but you know what I do? I play in a group. Problem solved. I take the trade-off that I can switch to cover a role in any match over the guarantee that I’ll get a 2/2/2 comp.

Idk why anyone uses twitch viewers as a metric of a games success.

Watching Overwatch being played by others is, quite frankly, incredibly boring. Who woulda thought Marvel Rivals, a game that has a near identical play pattern, retains that same trait?

Its like saying Elden Ring is dead despite the fact it has like 70k+ players even after its last year update.

Right now MR sits at 137k people on just steam alone. Overwatch is sitting at 30k on steam. I think plenty of people are still enjoying MR substantially more.

Is this another weekly thread similar to “overwatch is dead”…

It’ll be a funny necro in 3 or 4 years at least.

That says a lot more about you than it does about OW, lol.

Can I just ask, why are you playing this game if you aren’t having any fun? Is there a legitimate reason? Are you being paid or something?

137k down from 600k, lol. They have been losing players literally every day for months. That is not a very good argument, lol.

And we all know that hardly anyone uses steam to play OW2. In fact, there was a thread the other day estimating the number of players based on official information, and it is FAR higher than 30k.

I doubt that, lol.

I know, that’s what’ll make it funnier.

I remember 3 months ago when people said the same thing you are saying now. :person_shrugging: Oh well. Who cares.

That when the game is still going in 3 months after people said it’ll disappear in a month, that it’ll be funny? They said that?

You seem to.

I’ve only been taking off because I have been putting 200 hours into Hundred Line Defense since the 24th. I’m going back when I’m done

Basing a games success off of Twitch viewership.
