OW forums will be biased towards OW, MR forums towards MR. I mean, obviously.
Both games have things they do better than the other. I personally enjoy MR more than OW, but I still play and enjoy both. Right now, Blizz is putting all their eggs into the Stadium basket. I dislike stadium. Also not a fan of perks. Feels like OW is going too deep into MOBA territory and bailing on what made it great in the first place. But the base modes are still super fun.
I’ll reserve judgement on PvE until I play it, but as someone who was irreversibly disappointed by Blizz cancelling PvE (and letting all the co-op modes like wrath of the bride and Archives to rot in a bin), I’m really really really looking forward to MR’s take on it.
fine, do what you want, nobody is forcing you to play the most popular game
constant fps drops and it gets stuck a lot in the loading screen trapping you in the spawn room being kicked for inactivity because stupid developers decreased a lot the tolerance time before get kicked for inactivity, plus the insane amount of bugs, that overwatch is more polished myth has been debunked years ago
yeah, overwatch is death, everything that made ow great has been destroyed, not even a single pve event, if marvel rivals play their cards well they could make the most funny thing ever in the future
The point is that OW still has something keeping players playing it. PvE was never a requirement for that retention, and I imagine it’s similar for MR. Y’all put too much stock in PvE gamemodes that will ultimately die quick deaths.
yeah 6 or more years of developement and only 3 missions paywalled for real money, not in game money, no replay value, no talent tree, 2 event modes that for some reason developers want to bury and never bring back and the bridge event that has kiriko on it and of course is in the game
they cancelled ow2 pve and ow2 died forever so yes
I will say the inactivity timer for OW2 is very annoying but I wouldnt say thats related to optimization.
I get around 20 - 25 FPS in MR with settings on Medium and Low. In OW2, I get around 60 FPS with settings on High.
I dont even know why I even play MR with those low frame rates. Hoping to get my Xbox 1X back this weekend and install MR on there. Ita gotta perform better than on my PC.
If you have to lower the setting for OW2 how can you even play Marvel? Also Marvel is notorious for ignoring bugs. Why fix a bug when you can add a rehashed hero with some gooner skins?
