How is it possible that it’s “RNG” but I’m getting new junk city 3 times before I see Kings Row? This alone doesn’t make sense.

That’s not counting the duplicate times I see all push/flash point and clash maps.

The way it should be is it cycles through in terms of map modes escort, flash point, clash, hybrid, push and koth. The next can’t happen til the one before it happens. Or at the very least make it to where you don’t see the same map 2 or 3 times before seeing another one once. Who am I kidding, I don’t ever want to see a clash, flashpoint or push mode game tbh

Yeah, some old maps become so rare, I even forgot their existence. Mostly this happens with hybrid and escort maps. I get like koth-koth-koth-flashpoint-flashpoint-clash-escort-koth-flashpoint…

I haven’t seen Gibraltar, Rialto, Dorado in weeks. And sometimes when these maps appear, someone disconnects in the beginning of the match and gg, you won’t get those 2nd time =(

That’s my exact experience, especially when you finally see the good maps someone DCs

Yea Kings Row is especially rare … like hundreds of matches before getting one…
Also I like the new clash maps, but I rarely get them.

It’s funny, I see King’s Row pretty frequently.

I think the system picks a mode then a map in the mode. Therefore you will statistically get a flash point map way more than a specific hybrid. As if there’s what 6 game modes it would be a 1/6 then 6 or 7 hybrids I it would be then a second 1/6 or 1/7. When NJC would be a 1/6 then a 1/2. The bias for getting flashpoint is almost definitely long gone and it feels like the clash one is to.

Pretty sure the favorite maps are the ones with a payload, and sure enough those are the maps that show up in rotation the least. Blizzard has the most disgusting ideas I’ve ever seen in a company.

Id rather play Paris than any clash map. And probably a few of the flashpoint or push maps too.

The game randomizes game mode first and then the map in that mode.

When i tracked some games over several months, the spread of game modes was:
koth: 26%
push: 15%
flashpoint: 8%
escort: 25%
hybrid: 25%

I suggest to also do the same so you dont get any personal confirmation bias in the way.

When clash was put into the game it was made more frequent in the rotation - but thats been normalized now.

i tracked my kings row %… well kinda I just looked at my last 50 games and saw I had kings row 2 times. Looked again about 50 games later had it once.

Thats 3% for my fav map ; ;

Id like to know your junker city, samoa or Antarctica rate.

My replay history only has a couple games in it now, I doubt I’ll put in enough games the rest of this season to give an accurate answer

If you play enough though just click profile > history > game reports. it holds your last 49 games (recent history tho… I think every time game updates it deletes this list so mine only shows like 7 games right now)

Just count up what ever map/type then x2 is and that’s your map rate.

(example 5 samoa’s would be 10% of your games) just roughly. Only way to be more accurate is to play hundreds of game and keep a spreadsheet
