So basically double your workload, can’t possibly see what’s wrong there.
It’s not possible. Animations would need to be changed or it would look very junky, the heroes wouldn’t have the same shape, etc etc.

Just because a player is a girl, doesn’t mean she would want to play a girl character.
As quirky as the idea is, the big part about OW is the lore behind each character (yes I know, it’s rare and few in between, but it’s what really keep me with this game instead of Apex, or Val) and gender is tightly lock to this.

I do like this idea, but I think it would drain an important characteristic feature from the game. OW is highly addicting partially because you’re playing as Lucio or Genji or Mercy or Reinhardt. Not Medic, Medic 2, Flanker and Heavy Tank. You playing as the characters brings a lot more feeling of depth into the game

Same model but take a female voice actor?
Can be interesting in term of adding a skin like that to each hero but the voice acting would cost too much… Not to mention 32 models is quite a lot.
I don’t think they would do it but I’ve always wanted a gender bender skin; even if they didn’t have the voices since I know it’s a massive resource to obtain.
The first thing I thought of was Dream (minecraft YouTuber) made of skin.

If you want to see a female version of heroes just go to DeviantArt, I am sure they have… material there which will cater to your… needs.

I don’t think this should be done because the whole point to Overwatch’s characters is that they’re meant to have story, lore, etc. That all means something. Personalities are in play, even in competitive modes through their interactions and such.
Not a fan of this idea. Not to mention the implication it would have on hit boxes, audio cues, etc.
