I decided to try changing game language to japanese, it had been a while since I did it, do it from time to time. having recently played a lot of Kiriko to try get used to her ofuda heal change (needed a break for a while after, since internal memory of old was too fresh and made it feel very ughhhh. still feel a bit meh but a bit better)
one thing struck me pretty immediately. it sounded like different actress.
quick google search later, and an article from exputer . com , and they list Sally Amaki as the english language pack voice actor, and Fairouz Ai as the japanese language VA.
according to wikipedia, she was born and raised in Japan (except a few years during elementary school)
