Make GA toggable please

Are the Mercy players who “stayed loyal” but can’t SuperJump well, supposed to be not important to the devs?

because the devs are showing that the loyal mercy players, including the ones who CAN superjump, are giving them a big F U. what if those mercy players didn’t wanna learn/use superjump? well now they have GA basically ruined.

and the ones who CAN superjump are given a bigger F U because they keep trying to make feature superjump a thing which obviously isn’t working. superjump isn’t even that hard to discover nor learn, it’s only difficult to master. OW1 GA was/is fine, and needed no changes.

So why does ML7 struggle with SuperJumping?

Is he just not that good mechanically at Support?

no he just hasn’t took the time and effort into learning nor mastering superjump completely like others have. just because one support pro doesn’t know how to superjump doesn’t mean it should be changed. come on grey your smarter than this

ML7 should learn superjump techs and spend time off stream/camera learning mercys superjump. also, you don’t need to use superjump to be a good mercy player. that’s why he still knows how to play mercy because he mechanically knows how to play her and support and he has great game sense. also he is an ana one trick soo…

Just kinda pointing out how you’re arguing “It’s so easy” and then arguing “Hey a Top 500 Support player just needs to spend a hundred hours grinding Mercy to really understand how to SuperJump well”.

Like you don’t see the disconnect there?

the disconnect is there because your misreading what i’m saying

i’m not saying that it’s easy to learn AND master, im saying that it’s easy to learn superjump if you are DEDICATED but it is very difficult to master.

also he doesn’t need 100+ hrs to learn, it takes like 15 minutes to learn it but longer to master

Those players will never come back, you know it as much as I do. We’ve explained the reasons so many times on these forums.

Well, let’s say they got the current GAJump to work well.
Then let’s say they put back in some form of InstantSingleRez.
Maybe even give her back that 60hps.

Heck, while they are at it, just literally give everybody Pink Mercy, then donate like $25,000 to charity.

How I read it was that the basics of it aren’t that hard to discover or learn. It just takes a bit of time to master.

I think if people can understand how to best use all the different versions of SJ the devs have worked up, they can learn the OG SJ. As all of the versions have a quirkiness to them…a learning curve to get the most out of them…that needs a little bit of "ooops, screwed that up " time to get it right. Even ML7.

even a top 500 may not even know everything about a hero

skill diff. it takes 5 minutes tops to get the hang of superjump (excluding motor disabilities ofc). it ain’t rocket science to press 2 buttons at once and then jump at the end of GA. those who havent figured out how to consistently pull it off are most likely at the appropriate elo & should continue to practice.

So only the enjoyment of about 5% of Mercy players matters?

you’re telling me only 5% of Mercy players know how to super jump…? LOL don’t make me laugh.

How about I make that more like “If this GAJump was just as strong as old SuperJump, with a dedicated input method to GAJump in directions, without looking in that direction” then I think the amount of Mercy players that would still be butthurt about it would be pretty minimal.

And if anything, their complaint would mostly be “Why am I losing SR compared to Mercy players with better gamesense and coordination”.

2017, perhaps. Not 2018. The rework was in September 2017.

And, seriously? There are “a heck of a lot more” people who mained Mercy between launch and September 2017 than in all the time since?
