Yes I’ve definitely been regularly posting on here for 3 years after quitting the game. While somehow staying up to date on current gameplay issues. Definitely

I have a better idea: let’s turn the forums into “free to read”. Posting and commenting is allowed only for paid members.
Pretty sure that’s how it works right now, as far as OW is concerned, no?
Oh I was just laughing because his excuse is, “I just felt like posting on my alt account.” I mean, I know I do that ALL the time too, so. Some days I’m on one account, other days I’m like, I want a different name today. rofl.

It’s too cheap especially now that the game goes F2P. The Overwatch 2 store could sell some kind of currency to spend on creating forum comments. /j
I wholeheartedly agree with this. Being able to just use your alt account as a means to access forums under an alias, or talking about gameplay related stuff they don’t even have first-hand experience with let alone other experience with, makes up for some of the worst topics on the forums that usually end up even smoked out by flags. Nobody needs this here
A much better system would be not being able to access the forum unless you are at least diamond. Weed out all those roadhog and junkrat hate threads at least.
I’m diamond and I still kind of hate Roadhog. He isn’t a Rein Zarya combo, so I don’t want him on my team. And getting hook killed feels bad. Not to say he needs nerfed, or that no one should be allowed to play him. I just don’t like him.
But are you making daily threads about how roadhog is ruining overwatch and needs to be removed?
This forum is basically ignored by developers thanks to the high percentage of people with bad behaviour like create flame and similar things.
Who care what this type of “players” say in this forum, they will be ignored.

In fact the last developer talked in this forum in may 2021.
When instead before 2018 they talk very more often.
But this forum around the 2018 become a dumpster and simple developers stopped coming, if not for official news and similar things.

It was an entirely different forum back then, literally.
Before 2018 we have various developers talking more often with us of the game and how the game was going.
After various toxic behaviour of the forum, developers stopped coming to the point there was only Kaplan and always less often.
Now is totally abandoned.
i remember kaplan pointing out toxic/cheater that get banned while they tried to play victim on forum like ‘’ i didn’t do anything and get banned ‘’ post
He was litterally the last developer tried to fix this forum.
After a while he too started to come only for official things and few things more.
Now isn’t anymore part of Blizzard and this forum is luckily totally abandoned by developers.
Only Blizzard community manager staff are here, i feel sorry for them to have they have to work here.
