As bad as this game is you seriously don’t want that. Trust me just play something else. I’m saving you here.

mac computers have no problem having a dual boot configuration for windows.

You’re asking for uncountable amount of hours of porting, versioning with each update, for something that would barely take you time and would have you compatible with every PC game.

Can’t you play it through Steam or am I tripping?

just buy a real computer

I second Blitzcloud’s proposal, just get a windows boot and play it that way.

While ease of access directly through mac would be convenient, you can play it now very easily.

Let them make their own call brother.

There’s no need to derail just because you take the game too seriously.

so, you’re just against playing overwatch? Why are you here, weirdo.

I mean… Microsoft is taking over January 2024… You sure they will let one of the biggest computer competitors to Windows to have it and giving less reasons to stick with our get Windows PCs? Wouldn’t they want to say, “if your wanna play overwatch, don’t get a Mac, get a Windows PC or laptop”?

Even if the game gets ported into mac. Macbooks are just not suitable for a competitive fast paced FPS games like overwatch especially because of the screen. The screen is limited to 60 hz and miniled displays have atrociously slow pixel response time which means you’ll end up looking at smears all game which can be nauseating at best and vomit inducing at worst.

And if you do get a gaming focused external monitor, one would wonder why you chose to buy a mac in the first place, it simply doesn’t make sense; there is no market.

Blizzard won’t do that. But Apple with the new translation tool will make it happen. Any game on Windows will be perfectly playable on macOS within a few years.

Apple’s translation tool works like Proton from Valve. Steam Deck is pure Linux, but runs 12K Windows games with no problems.

You people need to knock this Mac business off.

YES I strongly support this!

Blizzard has other games on mac

This is outdated information the new ones cannot do this!

:sob:

No you literally can’t do that now - the only options are cloud gaming and translation tools!

They have to port it to macOS, which is not something they have in their plans as it takes time, money, and the base is insignificant.

Like I said, CrossOver will do everything without Blizzard.

It’s not that bad actually - I play a fair bit on my small 13 inch Macbook screen but if I want something better than I just hook it up to the external display which is a 4K 144hz heh…

I have a high end mac because of the industry I work in. I normally play Overwatch on PS4, my mac is better. It also seems like most of Blizzards games are available on mac, why not this one too.

Correct World of Warcraft is available on Mac so I see no reason for Overwatch not to also be ported over!
