On April 20 I had my game randomly crash and when that stuff happens it reminds me to update my graphics drivers. On April 21 I updated my driver and since then my game is unplayable. I have tried everything I can to get back to using my regular settings like rolling back my driver, trying multiple versions, changing settings in the NVIDIA control panel, lowering my graphics setting to low, scanning and repairing the game and uninstalling and re installing the game. I also tried playing on the steam version and I have the exact same issues. These FPS issues are limited to just OW2, none of the other games I tested have this issue. The update today didn’t fix anything either.
AMD Ryzen 9 5900X
Windows 11
EVGA 3080ti
32GB RAM
Any help is appreciated but I have tried everything I can find to try online over the last 32 hours.
There have been a lot of discussions about the latest NVidia drivers having issues with 30 and 40-series cards.
GamersNexus did a video on it 2 weeks ago, and JayzTwoCents did a video 2 days ago on the latest April driver not updating system temperatures after waking from sleep/hibernation states, causing systems to overheat when you have custom fan curves that depend on temperature readouts.
For stability, they say to roll back to the December driver of 566.36

I saw the videos as well, I have rolled back to that driver and it didn’t help unfortunately.
Not sure if this is also your issue but after updating to the latest Nvidia drivers I started getting really bad stutters. The only thing that fixed it was going into my Nvidia Control Panel and turning my 3D settings to balanced
