Made it to Diamond OQ playing on GFN exclusively!

This season I gave myself a challenge:

To hit Diamond in open queue playing exclusively on GFN cloud gaming…

And while it took much longer than it should’ve (I suspect some element of artificial grind in the rank system) I finally made it out of Platinum with Reinhardt…

Fully solo queue as well…

I think this proves quite decisively that you can play Overwatch at least somewhat competitively over the cloud with a good connection!

I have been playing only through it since it came out.
it saves some disk space.

I should mention as well that I play exclusively on the GFN’s free tier so I didn’t even spend a penny!

The queues aren’t too bad nowadays and the one hour limit doesn’t hinder me too much because I take it as my time to go for a break and queue up again…

Amazing to be able to have a full gaming machine on my Mac for free…

Did anyone else have any personal challenges that they set for themselves this season?
