I like how this one originally got mad at me for saying the thing I would like for lucio is for hack to not be what it currently is, and yet they are keeping the off topic discussion going because they feel the need to defend sombra in a lucio thread.

Yes, relative to lucio. You’re the one making posts entirely dedicated to defending sombra.

I’m not saying they are. I’m saying that in the case, Sombra was ‘sorta-reworked’ to try to add value to her kit by making her hack do more to more targets, but in the end it made her feel worse to play into for everyone, and specifically removed a big chunk from Lucio’s kit for almost no reason.

In regards to how Blizzard balances though, they do balance around how ‘unfun’ a hero is to play against. Their primary goal (even if it doesn’t seem like it…) is balance, which normally revolves around power-level…but sometimes they have had to step in because a hero, even if they’re bad, felt crummy to play against. That’s the RH, Mercy and to some degree Sym rework, and I would bet they dance around the issue of DF and Sombra being in that category as well.

Full GOATS nerfs reverts, and then just wait for the others to change so it can be his meta again.
Lucio is great. It’s just not his time, which makes me very sad as someone who doesn’t fully click with the other supports.

I want two things.

Hack to not disable currently playing song. (Wallride is fine because all mobility movements are disabled by have, such as wall climb). Disabling currently playing song is something even Lucio cannot do and requires special coding. Even disabling crossfade in custom games gives you an unchangeable aura.

The other change is that Lucio should have the movement penalty for moving backwards removed.

He is a skater, and roller hockey player. Anyone who skates knows that you go super fast backwards skating, much faster than people on their feet.

I want his old aura range back. Being grouped together on certain maps is counterproductive as a Sniper’s ult buffet dream now that barriers are weak.

And to go with pace of shield breaking faster his speed should be buffed to help tanks get past chokes and into cover faster.

If only Blizzard could partner with MonsterCat (like rocket league) to let us choose our own songs!

Or at the very least, on April 1st, make all of lucio’s beats be crazy frog (axel f)
