The meta basicly defines the current heroes that are strongest with the fewest counters
If you ever heard of dive meta (which lastet the last 6 seasons) it was as the name suggest about diving ontop of your enemy supports and making their life hell on earth
that meta consistet of winston , genji,tracer,zenyatta,dva and mercy
Briggite was mostly introduced just to finally put an end to the support hell meta called dive

so, she does the same thing lucio does, only he doesn’t even have to hit anyone… but lucio isn’t a problem and he heals more with amp… 
Pretty much. Most people will hate characters that make life hard for their own favorite heroes.
For example, as someone who loves playing Ana, I dislike Winston, DVa, and Genji. But I understand that they’re meant to counter her and therefore don’t need nerfs.
Same thing with Brigitte: She counters a lot of Dive heroes, which makes a lot of players that enjoy those heroes hate her. But players that like characters like Bastion, Widowmaker, Junkrat, Pharah, etc. etc. all LOVE going up against her.

Yeah, I’ve never had to deal with major counters before. No wonder I placed at 2500 this season compared to 3100 like last season.
Before I would just use Tracer to spawn-kill critical heroes and win, Brig makes anything involving the back-line next to impossible now.
Once you learn the footsies of brig you should be able to outplay her even as tracer … tough i cant advice ever picking tracer against her at all but meh , its your choice

I notice that as Tracer it’s possible to beat her if you play your cards right, sticking at midrange where Brig can’t do anything but you can still land most of your shots.
Genji, on the otherhand…i feel like he should never try to face a Brigitte on his own. He’s just not equipped to deal with her like he is other supports.
Which is what alot of ppl also did back then, and now with briggite there are no free kills on backliners anymore … so lots of ppl whine on here about her

Ye he should rather just try to assist in killing by spamming from midrange and finishing her off if shes low health but leave the main damage dealing to ppl like phara

Gonna point out; Lucio’'s self heal is like 12 HPS, but 16.25 for allies. So if you can kill someone getting healed by Lucio, you can kill brig

I’ve seen so many people die too even when Lucio amps it up trying to save them
They should make a pool to see how many ppl what her nerfed and how many don’t.
Self heals more than a plain support, along with that armor. The armor part makes sense, the self healing part not so much.

She may be doing it on competitive (i don’t know as i don’t play) but on normal games she is destroying the game.
