So there was maintenance going on for Overwatch May 4 console. I was never lagging or anything. Until I join a competitive match. As soon as the game started it kick me out with the message there was a server issue while also maintenance was happening, but I still was ban for 15 minutes and lost SR! Which doesn’t seem fair since it was a server/maintenance issue and the message appeared too.
Warning messages on BattleNet appear to warn that you should avoid high-stakes modes like Competitive. In any case, they do not reverse SR loss or penalties.
