Lost connection to game server

I can’t get into the game, it always shows lost connection to game server. This started after the most recent update. Haven’t been able to log into the game since then. I know it’s not my net because other games are running fine.

It might not be your local connection, but right now the servers are up, so it’s probably something between the two connections. More info:

Someone (maybe me) can look over a WinMTR if you post one, which is the data Blizzard asks for players to provide whenever connection issues arise.

WinMTR instructions (click to expand/collapse)

Follow the support documentation for WinMTR. If you’re unable to get into a game for the IP address, then use an IP from the table provided on that page that matches your region. Run the test until you encounter the issue again, or for at least 10 minutes.

Share your results in a reply:

  1. Click the “Copy Text to clipboard” button after you’ve finished the test per the instructions.
  2. Paste the text in a reply, then highlight the pasted text and click </> on the post editor.
  3. Break any links by adding a space before .com, .net, etc.

I am having same issue. Can someone halp?

Happi, please create your own separate thread. Tacking on to someone else’s thread makes it more chaotic for a Blizzard representative to help out. The only time when tacking on to someone else’s thread is fine is when there is an issue that plagues a bunch of people, as in an issue with a particular ISP. However, this is decided by Blizzard too, so it is best to always create a separate thread first.
