Platform can delay damage on your tank so you can heal him, or it can be used cheesily to stop enemies from touching point. Them being lifted literally slows their travel time if they don’t have dash or something and putting it inside a doorway really slows people down. They have to destroy it to get back to the battle.
I did this on route 66 near the end of 2nd point cap and enemies didn’t even bother coming out of the top exit. They just avoided it and we capped while they tried to reach it by going around long ways.
Abuse lifegrip for damage negation. Sometimes you forget you have it. Same goes for your dash self-heal.

I remember there was so many posts about this being abused and how it was going to ruin the game and everything, and to be honest. I was among those people, I was like… This is never going to work, but it turns out it’s working quite well.
I’ve not yet encountered any serious forms of trolling with lifegrip, it’s actually been very useful in many situations. But just like Mercy’s resurrect, there’s some bad decisions yeah but… 9 out of 10 times it’s gotten me out of a sticky situation and saved me. So it’s actually working out very well! Yeah.
