I stan this decision lmao
Right, but the full charge rate remains the same. It took 1 second to get from 10-65, now it takes 1 second to get from 1-75. That means it has to charger faster. Holding it for .25 seconds heals more now than it did before.
i think hes a little better since im starting to see impact. a lot of times im going dam that enemy lifeweaver as a dps or tank. so yea he seems to be getting better
I was hoping for a beefier lifegrip with a longer cooldown, myself; and I wish that they buffed the Needler by significantly increasing the projectile speed instead. That said, Lifeweaver is in a much better shape now.
I killed a tracer for the first time yesterday and it felt nice to have been able to actually kill her instead of just running away. The damage buff was somewhat noticeable, but not really significant. Still, it felt great to use, especially with the increased clip size.
Angry is not a personality. So…do with that information what you will angry dude.
Hm checks out. Online I’m the opposite too. I’ve very expressive and take my writing seriously.
Lmao.
This is perfect.
How seriously do you take your wroting again?
Enough to repirt that.
To be clear, it’s scaling faster since there’s a new maximum cap, but the charge time remains the same. If you’re still running half-second or three-quarter-second charges you are effectively healing more than the previous patch.
I Feel they over buffed him. The changes to pull were too much. 20 second CD was more than fine.
Better? Yes, although not hard.
Great? Not really.
Still plays mostly like a healbot which can get kinda boring. Still very little to no time to effectively swap to doing some dmg.
I only dislike his weapon swap now, in top of that clunky mechanic, he has to reload pretty often, don’t think he would be op if he had infinite ammo
That’s kind of what I wanted to see - I kept pitching this ‘blossom’ idea where a full charge leaves an aura/seed on an all. Hitting them with a second charge detonates/blossoms an additional seeker heal for a nearby ally (bounce heals – it ain’t Paladin’s Rei but I guess she’d be too strong)
Then from there, all you need is the Tree ult to automatically ‘seed’ nearby allies so there is some synergy between his two tools (or would it be better if the tree triggered any blossom every pulse?)
I played two matches with him last night - one where I really had to swap off of him because the enemy team was pushing super-hard with a PharMercy and a Rein, so I had to swap to my main, put them in their place and take that win.
Second match I played the whole match with him, was a win without too much effort, but I need to remember my tactics with him, so it will take a few matches to get back into how I used to play him.
Kinda his whole point which is why I love him. I like supports with defensive/passive playstyles
My winrate on him climbed from 47% to %49 so its fair to say that it seems like the buffs did legitimately help. However his average stats on overbuff haven’t really changed since s4. He still seems to have a very low pickrate / winrate.
I think that if they want to consider adding anything to his kit that would further solidify his niche as a defensive support, they should consider looking for ways to add some soft CC to his kit to help his team secure picks / defend him teammates.
He’s all about flowers and plants, so maybe something involving slows or a leash-trap similar to the one junkrat had in his alpha phase may be a good way to do that? I know that everyone’s on edge right now with CC because of Mei and Cassidy, but i think this is one of the only ways to make his kit feel more proactive without buffing his damage into the moon or giving him a damage boost. (I don’t know how a DB would work with his current kit.)
the most important things for him rn should be
- reducing the reload time for swapping to 1.5s from 2.5 (wrongfully nerfed)
- reducing the blossom charge time from 1s to 0.85s or 0.8s
We would need to be carefull aboout lowering charge times, since he just got a heal buff. If they lowered charge they might need to lower the heal amount again. Try to keep it the Same HPS overall.
eh yeah, but hes still pretty bad. maybe something like
- blossom charge time reduced to 0.8s
- blossom healing reduced from 75 max to 70
- ultimate charge reduced by 4%
because the ultimate nerf was weird lmao, plus lowered his healing so
