Heya fellow players!

Since the Forums are new, I’d like to create a thread where we could find our beloved gaymers and LGBT friendly people.
It would be nice to find friendly people to play at night and do some Arcade / Competitive matches.

This isn’t a thread excluding non-LGBT people, it’s a just a way to try putting gay-friendly people together. Anyone who wants can join us.
It’s quite difficult to find friendly people in specific Reddits and Facebook pages. Let’s make Overwatch receptive and inclusive for everyone.

TL:DR This started as an LGBT Console thread, got a lot of hate and the thread got flagged and temporarily locked. After, Overwatch Forums Team put the thread back again, and I edited to include every platform in it.

I think they probably deleted their comment. Or maybe flag it to watch it since LGBT post seem to get…well…out of hand often times.

I just made a Ticket super upset with what happened and demanding them for answers. There were two Community Managers dealing and hiding the thread.
Of course, I’ll not say the staff members names.

Well, at least it is back. Because I felt like they were putting a hand in our mouths and not letting us be vocal, after making their cover hero a lesbian.

Replies got blocked. But I can make a list of everyone’s names (As OP I still have access to everyone’s replies). It makes me happy the thread survived.

I think that I saw a message at the bottom of the other one saying the other one will reopen in a couple of hours, it was just falsely flagged too much and forced a protocol to lock it and check for if the flags were legit. Might be wrong though

May i ask how? it is only putting people together who have something in common with each other? i also highly doubt the overwatch team will ban/take down this post if they do that basically being biased to the people who attack/put down people for being who they are.

Well I’m not LGBT+ but I’m always here to play with more people and make friends and to just be supportive! I don’t play competitive and don’t really use a mic but if you really want to chat I can get a headset or we can message on PS4
My PS4 name is doggie2013 and if you send a friend request just say you’re from the forms or something :3

Recently, people have been creating LGBT+ servers in the custom game lobby (PS4).

Met some cool people, and glad to see it’s possibly going onto the forums!

it is due to Tom “watching” over this thread. i am sure it is due to amount of hate people like to do. and sure he just wants to watch out for the community :slight_smile:

Moderator’s team: I see this thread made a lot of controversies. And a lot of PC players are trying to join in too. Can you please edit the thread name to “Let’s Unite LGBT Friendly Community!” so we can include every player here?
