I don’t know, he didn’t seem like one in the Ashe short a couple of years back.
He also has the best redesign by a long shot. All the others are either clearly inferior to their originals or just slightly more detailed. I would prefer to look at his new skin over any of the other ones shown so far.

It would be awesome if it was a 3D holo print with Sombra hacking something when you turn the cover a bit.

My bet is that the campaign will be all about tracer. The cinematic, the gameplay showcase, the comic… all of it points to it. Which is one of the reasons I care less about buying it.

Overwatch 2 game cover should have Soldier 76 holding his gun menacingly with half of his visor broken showing an angry bleeding eye with the American flag reflected on his eyeball.
and the background should all be burned buildings and desolate battleground with helicopters flying over an explosion in the background. it should be gritty grimy and sepia tone like a game cover from 2005.
because it will be 2021 baby! we are already on our way to 2000s Nostalgia, due to the 20 years rule… so why not have Overwatch 2 pay homage to the seventh gen with a shooter guy gun dude cover!
It should have one of the new enemy’s fighting tracer on the cover
