Let's talk about Moira's eyes 👓

Moira has gorgeous eyes, but what exactly eye issues she has? (except heterochromia) she wore glasses, visor and in final version she has an implant.
I’d like to compare her appearances in timeline, and reveal some issues w analysis

Very first Moira appearance, as a child she wore glasses. of course glasses sometimes are necessary for safety, but it’s obviously usual glasses.

in scientist skin (which is canon), she has a scaner on a left eye. It could be necessary for research, but again, it doesn’t explain glasses.

blackwatch skin. has no glasses or visors at all. maybe she wears lenses? it’s unlikely, but just a suggestion. otherwise, this is just a mistake.

Moira in current state has an implant on her left eye, where she also had a visor in previous skin. it’s probably for ally targets detection, like mercy scanner in Valkyrie short story.

So where’s mistake? If she never had issues with vision, why did she wear glasses when she was a child? If she had issues, why she didn’t wear anything in blackwatch skin?

Moira is a geneticist. She has made Reaper literally immortal by making his cells rapidly degenerate and regenerate. She doesn’t tell people about the experiments she has done to her own body (she is a private person) but there is a spray called self-experimentation. Fade as an ability is very similar to shadow step, and so it is safe to assume that she has the same rapidly-generating cells as Reaper. She could iron out any flaws in her body to become ‘optimal’.

I had a colleague that has heterochromia. She had other sights problems and need to wear glasses, I remember she commented about not having good depth perception, but I never asked the specifics of it. She also needed surgery at some point.

What you need to have in mind is that when someone has some kind of unusual genetic condition, it’s sometimes accompanied by other symptoms/characteristics.

I think Moira just had a LASIK after her condition stabilized, and her implant is just some kind of enhancer to help her keep up with trained soldiers.

Moira probably just made one of her eyes red because it looks cool. I mean, the woman naruto runs, who’s to say it isn’t just a sharingan contact
