Less fighting, more teamwork!

Every hero has at least one positive voice line except Reaper :grimacing:

I mean, in the earlier days, he used to say “Just win, baby” which is hilariously out of character for him, and it could be interpreted as positive lol.

:joy: For Reaper anything is better then his child like gothic appearance

He’s such a try hard

I’ve always taken a slight dislike to Reaper’s design compared to all the other heroes. They’re all so unique, and colorful. Then there’s Reaper. He’s literally just Death with two shotguns instead of a scythe. Not trying to call out Blizzard or anything, but it always just seemed a little plain.

But yes, Reaper is a tryhard lol.

Plain is good if your negative his attitude fits that of a toxic person while us positive people are colored all over the place through almost every hero :rainbow:

True, Reaper is a grouch so he’s in all black. Tracer is positive and cheery, and she sports orange and white. Never thought of it that way. Cool!

I get it, we should all be more positive, and I agree too, but hoping for random people on the internet to be more positive is like hoping for rain in the desert.

If you’re looking to improve your play environment, I’d suggest looking for a clan or community. It’s what I did. Never once regretted my decision.

No problem as I said before I look for alternatives :yum:

That’s exactly why I play with friends these days, never alone anymore. But the more of us there are, making ourselves known, the more people will realize.

Anyway, it’s getting late and I’ve got school tomorrow. Goodnight friends, have a good one.

Peoples attitudes in this game just seem worse than ever. It used to be people would turn on each other when your team is getting smashed. These days my teammates trash talk each other in any game where were not absolutely stomping the other team. It sucks.

You answered your own idea I didn’t mean that in a rude way either sorry I created a group called Everlasting Hope dedicated to stopping toxicity in its tracks it could be considered a sorta clan

But I consider it as a group soon to be a rivaling band of positive people :yum:

Everlasting Hope :evergreen_tree:

Enh, I’ve been out there beating the drum on the benefits of clans for over two years now, and most of what I get back is heavy resistance. I get it too. Blizzard has set up a system where solo queueing is an easier path to higher ranks than group queueing.

If grouping up were the best way to play the game (as opposed to the worst like it is now) people would be motivated to group up, and motivated to make themselves more appealing and presentable to potential groups. The community could help shape what is or isn’t acceptable behavior, and even the most selfish and self centered among us would have motivation to learn a little humility and kindness.

Instead we have the lawless and directionless land that is solo queue, where a person can be as selfish and rude as they want and not suffer any consequences. In fact they could be rewarded because, like I said, solo queue is an easier path to success then group queue is.

PS when I say grouping up is the worst way to play, I mean from an objective standpoint. It can be subjectively the best for some people, as it is for me.

There will always be toxicity but there are people here on the forums dedicated to making not only the forums but the game a better more positive place :yum:

There most certainly are people here working on making Overwatch brighter. On an unrelated note, that Replicant user from last night found my Xbox account and messaged me lol. How toxic do you have to be? I was confused.

I wouldn’t say toxic is the only word for them anymore :grimacing:

They specially looked you up and sent you a most certainly toxic message I can’t say I didn’t get one but I haven’t checked yet we need to watch out for that one no good will come it if we just let them roam free they are attacking us via words in the real world just as much as in the forums we need to be cautious

Yeah, they made a pretty… weird assumption. I think I’ll just block them. The fact that they went out of their way to power up their console, search me up, and send me a personalized message means nothing good…

We can’t block them on the forums sadly I know because all sorts of people want to block me if it were possible :unamused:

But yeah blocking them that way works sounds a bit like cyber bullying also if I’m being honest being rude in a forum is one thing but going out of your way to search for the person and then say more things is another :expressionless:

I’ll certainly be blocking them on my Xbox, that’s for sure… I wish there were forum blocks too, I mean, it’s not like harassment doesn’t happen here. This is the Overwatch community, of course there’s harassment… that no good bully…

Well seeing as how they were towards us yesterday I am not surprised but going as far as they did I can’t even fathom that :unamused:

They might have an account on PC also I bet they do and if so that’ll be some real fine work :expressionless:
