Buy a new mouse and forget the G403. Not worth the effort to troubleshoot.
There are a lot of these threads and no answer. I had this issue a while back and went forum digging and noticed a common thread - the Logitech g403 mouse or whatever which was also my mouse. Bought a new, nice steel series mouse and it worked like a charm for several months. Until today, it happened again.
Unplayable and frustrating that there appears to be no good fix.
Just started happening to me with G703. Does not happen with my old mouse. Indeed seems to happen more against enemies on screen, but does at some extent also happen even in other programs.
However it greatly increases against enemies, instead of shooting things on the spawn room.
I recorded demo video of it:
Funny, if I click the very left side of the button, it works. But all the things in above thread, including the video, are valid when the button is pressed in the middle or any normal position.
So the issue and the symptom is not straightforward, when it’s appearing.
Same issue, but in my case it happens when pressing too hard, if I press easy and gently the its working fine, so its hardware issue
This is exact the same issue i struggle with now, Kalcomix’s video shows my problem also.
It acutally happens in BF4 also, but its def worse in OW.
Been lurking forums now, cant really find any solution, other than i might consider buying a new mouse tomorrow, hopes that fix my problem.
Having the same issue with the Razer Mamba – driving me crazy. Tried everything, literally can’t play OW with it.
Guys,
I had the same problem (G602), I would play Mercy and I would be holding down the button, and it would flicker on and off while healing/boosting people. I was going crazy. On my mouse, there is a low power mode. I had accidentally turned this on via a switch in the center of the mouse. Once I turned off I was good to go! hope that helps someone who is pulling out their hair like I was.

Hi, I’m having the same issue with a G703 mouse. Have no issues in regular Windows use. Only in Overwatch AND aiming directly at an enemy. This is driving me mad, any suggestions appreciated. I’m pretty sure it’s not related to pressure applied or low battery. When testing in a training environment never once had this problem. Thanks.
