Thank you. Zen is a 0.3 as far as I know. Didn’t see him there. That’s off wiki, making his projectiles larger. But that seems weird given values used in the chart…
Edit again: Junkrat .4 according to wiki, chart has him .2
Ana .4 on sleep according to wiki, .2 on chart.
So if going off wiki and chart, according to that chart Zen would be a .15. if true, Kiriko kunai larger
Kiriko is about double the size of hanzo arrows, if hanzo is 0.1, kiriko is 0.18 and zen is 0.15
i think you’re / the sites are mixing up radius and diameter.
Yes the wiki seems to be right but basically citing 2x the value, so diameter instead of radius. The image seems to have the accurate numbers for radius but didn’t include Zen.
As the team said they wanted to reduce her healing because of how high it was but they also wanted her ideal playstyle to not be spam main heal. To that end if you simply reduce the numbers, you did not change her ideal playstyle you just made it less effective. By slowing the rate of her main heal, you still reduce the healing in a similar way but incentivize a different playstyle which is with more kunai which is how the hero was envisioned.
Basically right now she is played as a hyper mobile healer whose job it is to charge ult and use suzu which is not how Blizzard envisioned it so they are trying to get the hero back to how it was envisioned.
you might only get 2k per match but i can assure you if played right you will have a lot more than that on top of substantial healing , supports are not just heal bots , if thats all you are doing then you are playing supports wrong, they have damage and utility kits for a reason .
I dont play Kiriko lmao. I dont like her kit.
When I do I get roughly 4k. Am I a perfect Kiriko? No far from it.
But every Kiriko in my games always sits at like 8k heals and 2k damage. And clearly blizzard is trying to encourage damage for a reason. If she was getting enough damage this wouldnt be an issue
they should have increased the speed of ofunda and removed the suzu’s invulnerability and I can assure you that many problems would have ended but it is clear that the blizzard balance team gets paid based on the amount of stupid things they do lol
I just feel like if they wanna incentivize using the kunai, then make its damage more consistent. There’s a reason why people are prioritizing heals over damage, and it’s because having to deal with her slow projectile speed/RoF isn’t the best
At least in my case, this change didn’t make me focus on healing any less. And now both her heals and kunai throws feel pretty sluggish.
Her dmg is inconsistent due to how slow her projectile travels and how slow she throws them. Not only her dmg is the most unreliable form in the game, she does piss poor dmg unless headshot, which is even more inconsistent. Hanzo is a way better pick if you wanna do dmg
A nearly unkillable support that rarely dies is alive longer to stack up healing numbers comparable to other supports with higher HPS in raw numbers. She also happens to have the strongest ult in the game that forces kiriko players to healbot if they want to play optimally since her kunai damage is inconsistent. Instead of nerfing suzu, swift step, kitsune rush, or pure healing output they give this weird change to incentivize DPS without actually doing much.
