This is now the third time i get kicked out of a comp game beacause of ,technical issues’’ in 2 days. Now i didnt even have the chance to get back into the game, so i got banned from comp for 10 minutes and i lost 50 sr. THANK U BLIZZ
+this also happens very often in qp and arcade. I checked everything, it is not a problem of my pc or internet, its because of the game.
Unfortunately all disconnections and game crashes counts as leaving the match and will be penalized appropriately. The game server has no way to discern a legitimate disconnection or game crash from one that is forcefully caused by a dishonest player to bypass leaver penalties. Remember if you see the message, “Lost Connection to the Server” in the title screen or the message “Failed to Connect to Server” in yellow text in the text chat box, this means there is something that disrupted your connection to the game server and not a problem with the game server itself. There can be a variety of reasons this happens including those that don’t disconnect your computer from the Internet. I just don’t play comp. There is too much at risk and the only time I do this is when I KNOW my connection cannot crash. I got nailed ONCE for a connection crash. My ISP’s switches got Nuked by haxors. So IMO Comp is too dangerous to play.
Players can accuse you of “throwing” and for that one day windows decides to flip out, it’s going to be when you play comp. If they want to mitigate this solution they are going to have to build a restore session feature into comp. That way if you have that weird crash, you can enter the session again within x amount of minutes and not face a penalty.
