Yeah, this has actually just started to happen to me out of nowhere. I usually get a solid 60 FPS, but occasionally now my FPS will drop from 60 to anywhere from 15-20 for a second, then it goes back to 60, along with a bit of audio distortion. This usually happens during matches, which is weird for me because I’ve been using this laptop to play Overwatch all year and never had this sort of thing happen. I use an Acer Nitro 5, Geforce GTX 1050, 8 Gigs of RAM. Wifi is normally good.
These issues can happen for a few different reasons. If none of these steps help, then let’s get a DxDiag to take a closer look:
- Press Windows Key + R, type in DxDiag and press Enter.
- In the window, click Save All Information.
- Name the file and click Save.
- Please copy and paste the DxDiag information in-between the code blocks (</> button).
