You want to report people for being decent human beings and showing good sportsmanship? And you call that sort of behavior “dumb”?

an intentionally misrepresented proposition that is set up because it is easier to defeat than an opponent’s real argument.

Your thread title “dumbest group ever.” That’s where you lost me.
Had you opened up with, “is this a reportable offense?” perhaps you would not have people disagree with you. What is your argument? You wrote, “just massive /facepalm.”
You can report it all you want. Who cares? But to say your group is a bunch of idiots is just petty.

It would depend on context I think - if someone left/dc:ed early on then that’s pretty sportsmanlike, but if my team has been kicking butt and someone rage quit at the end of the round then no.

Report them for not trying to win? Yes of course you can, and you really should.

its not a dumb thing but i wouldn’t do it even though i feel bad for them
you also get leavers on your team so its seems fair to me to balance it out by taking advantage of it
but hackers are different, i would draw my game if i had a hacking teammate
I mean, I guess you could report for gameplay sabotage. But you better report the leaver first 
I’ve done this for an overly toxic teammate. The guy was trying to make the other team feel crappy when we were steamrolling them, got to the point where I told him to shut up. The guy was like “Why? They have a right to know how bad they are XD” so I apologize for this guy’s behavior, said I was going to throw, and stood in spawn dancing.
I’m not an awesome player (my aiming sucks) but when it turned 5v6 they beat us back to spawn. The guy started going off how he was going to report me and I was going to get banned, I told him to go for it. I feel bad for our other 4 teammates, but this guy just would not shut up trying to make the other team feel worse than they already were.
We ended up losing and to rub it in this toxic player’s face I typed “GG EZ” and “Remember, it’s not nice to be mean ;)”
This is a fairly common practice that I support if the time calls for it. Once we just let the ppl who remained get whatever achievements they wanted but still won.
