I saw your respond before your remarks. It was saying “Juno’s skin based on Sailormoon”. Now you’ve changed it to
which now means it’s a skin that’s based on something that has distant connection to something that’s was using underage fictional characters. That makes your already quite fragile and dishonest position even less valid.
Yeah, I ended up just blocking them. They weren’t able to accept anything that didn’t align with their nonsensical argument.
IMO, if you have to bring in something completely unrelated to the game to create your argument about what is happening in the game, then you have no valid argument.
Style is one thing. But having a character i’m playing as ogled like that caused some very real anxiety for me. So i’m a bit tired of all the prettiest skins lacking modesty aid.
I’d love to wear many of them but i can’t because i don’t want to be subjected to that behaviour again.
I’m only glad i can have cute skins that have trousers on them. And raincoat mercy has shorts, which is a definite plus.
So it’s not a terrible situation, just a slightly unco.fortable one that i can luckily work around by myself.
Oh please, the edit was to clarify that dokiwatch isn’t a specific collab like Gundam, and is instead based on magical girl anime as a whole, the most obvious being Sailor Moon.
I still don’t think you even understand my argument.
“the thing you’re talking about that the doki skins are very obviously based on is “unrelated” to the game featuring the skins that are based on the thing you’re talking about.”
I really couldn’t give a damn either way because it’s a non-issue. Oh no, the character has a sexualized outfit! Whatever will I do?!
Well, in the words of my grandfather, drink a cup of cement and harden up (of course, he said that line with more profanity, but I obviously won’t use that here). You don’t have to use the outfits if you don’t like them. 99% of people don’t care. Of the few that do? They’re likely not leering at the in-game models, not when there are creators of adult content for Overwatch that exist and everyone knows it exists.
I really do not give a damn about magical girl skins in games. I don’t use them, but if you like them? More power to you. If you think it’s arousing, well, to each their own, but you’re not doing anything illegal because the character wearing that outfit is an adult.
Some of you are taking a microscopic anthill and trying to turn it into Mount Everest, and you know it.
It’s a game, it’s violent by it’s nature and i consent to videogame violence when starting the videogame with videogame violence in it. Not an issue.
What i don’t concent to is having people trying to upskirt my character in a game that isn’t about upskirting people.
Which is why i don’t play games with such themes in them.
I’m already doing what i can to avoid such themes. I’m not willingly putting myself into cake baking game if i hate baking cakes. So why are the people from the cake baking games coming to the shooter to toss the cakes at me when i’m actively trying to avoid the cakes?
Discuss the cakes all you want, but don’t force me to take part in it.
(“Cake baking” is used as a metaphor here and doesn’t mean actual cake baking)
Came back to see the bait actually worked. Which is sad as hell. As a side note, anyone getting outraged about video game characters is weird af. Get a life.
From what I gather blizzard has made her 19 so it’s a non issue.
I understand where you’re coming from because people like to say she’s cute when she has a skirt that’s one step away from seeing everything.
But
She’s 19
They don’t animate that
And there’s much worse offenders out there.
I wouldn’t let this Juno skin be my stance for female objectification, I’d start with things that are ACTUALLY happening in the real world if you want to make a difference.
I wouldnt post stuff like that here because people here will hard defend it for a variety of legit/non legit reasons. I’m sure there’s a section in the forums to put your complaint that will more readily be read by blizzard.
But they will never change because of a few gamer opinions, they will only change if it affects the pocket book or gives bad PR.
I’ll fully support you if they release a nude skin though.
But that will be a harder battle because you wouldn’t want to take away the simps fap material
Its pretty worrying if peeps think girls in cute fancy dresses are a kinda sexualized symbol. I am kinda serious. Go see a doctor before you actually starting to harm them.
Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a good anime from time to time (One Punch Man!) But there are so many out there that are extremely focused on fan service with characters that you’d need to pull up a wiki to see if they’re underage or not, because you can’t actually tell without doing so.
Yea most of this time this comes from people with out self-control that only try to suppress how women are allowed to dress. I know a lot of female player that love the new Juno skin.
