Those are mars people
They should just add no limits for the role or that hero when these happen, itās just QP anyway and will atleast make things fun.
I played this one game where the other support left the game and i was like āYes, heres my chance!ā. I start heading back to the spawn room as Illari and before i get to the doorway, a new support player has already joined the game and instantly selects Juno
Simple solution, Arcade > No LImits
if u want the easy way u can get a support duo and wait half an hour to play 10 minutes of new junk city or 5 of numbani
nah thatās just the magic of an ssd
To be fair, that happens all the time when thereās a new hero.
You need a NVME SSD and have the game installed there. Night and day difference.
I stopped using hdd before ow1 release
OKay but a typical SSD is much slower than a NVME SSD. Might want to look into that if thats what youāre still using. NVME ssdās are like the size of a stick of gum and plug directly into your motherboard on the PCIE bus.
try picking her when you are on console paying with PC players⦠its IMPOSSIBLE LOL
Thereās also fun in seeing how other characters you play cooperate with or fight against Juno. You canāt experiment that when all 10 players pick her.
thats called an SSD, even modern consoles have one⦠they are cheap af depending how much crap you wanna out on one. 128gb enough for ow is cheap, if you take a bigger capacity you get slightly better Performance. Donāt think that will impact load times much more.
it makes little sense to put games on the ssd if you are short on storage unless you donāt even have a hdd anymore.
theres also the trick of joining FFA during q wait time and only hovering with the cursor over junoās icon. Once game found your cursor is already over juno, just spam LMB and you should get her. But yes a SSD wins against the HDD user every day with spare time. Not sure how much the other components influence that, donāt think theres much impact, maybe RAM and CPU speed slightly.
no, i meant that maybe we should have 1-2-2 but start out the match as open queue first where anyone can pick any hero from any role, but the roles are soft locked to 1-2-2 structure.
So for example, maybe thereās a widow one trick. If that player insta-picks widow, one of the DPS slot (out of two) will get taken.
Naturally, the DPS and support slot will be taken the fastest, and some who were planning on playing the DPS or support role might miss out if they didnāt pick fast enough and would be required to pick a hero from the tank role instead. The argument against open queue was that some people might rage quit if they donāt get to play the role that they intended.
But we already sometimes get OTPs who main the same hero on the same role, and we donāt see them rage quitting over it, at least in ranked.
So maybe the concern of people rage quitting from not being able to play their role in open queue is overblown.
But I guess there are downsides to open queue too, even with a soft role lock. Such as MMR becoming less accurate and watered down, due to matchmaker having to take into account your skill level from all three roles, not just one of the three. But Iām sure there can be a workaround for this too.
BTW this open queue soft role lock method should work for 6v6 2-2-2 as well, not just 5v5 1-2-2.
My dude (sad smile) I have both m2 with raid1 on gaming pc and ssd via sata on media pc. in ~10% cases someone picks her first no matter which pc im using,
but I had my 90% this weekend, progression level 16 on one pc and 5 on another
I, personally, donāt want to be forced into a role that I didnāt queue for, though. Even when Iām playing with a full stack of friends. Iāll queue for all roles but when two friends lock me out of support or DPS, it doesnāt feel good and Iāll let them know that.
I donāt mind being locked out of tank if a friend wants to solo queue for tank but Iāll flex so someone doesnāt get locked into only tanking.
I remember having this issue when I wanted to play ashe and I didnt have a NVME SSD, once I upgraded I was always first to load and pick her.
This time around I had no interest to play Juno, cause I play no limits these days and playing with 4 other Junos was lame. I always pick something nobody else does in No limits, if some tries to pick the same as me I switch to something else.
