The buff to the dps passive means she’ll heal less, and the projectile nerf means she’ll do less damage and heal less. Granted, people are going to be taking less damage post-patch. However, that doesn’t matter much for tanks and it also means less ult charge generation for supports. It does suck that Juno is in both the pencil-thin and highly mobile categories, so she’ll benefit a disproportionately high amount from not being hit as often. We’ll have to see in the long term how this all adds up.
While I appreciate the well-meaning advice, I’ve mained Brig since her release. Brig is easy to kill. Brig has no mobility, no escape tools, and no immortalities.
She’s harder to dive, sure, but not really harder to kill. Certainly not compared to Bap or Kiriko.
This is why Illari will only be meta when it’s “her turn.” She has the Moira problem: only heals and deals damage. Even her ultimate is just a DPS ult. Illari’s benefit is her hitscan burst but that got removed when everyone went up to 250 hp, restored when some heroes came down to 225, and then they further nerfed her headshot damage.
Illari is a pretty middle of the road healer that does well in poke comps or against flyers. Unsure why you would ever play her over Baptiste though.
I think Juno hasn’t been nerfed cause she’s pretty much chosen for her speed ring and ult. They chipped her ult down a bit, but they’re resisting nerfing her speed ring anymore since it’s her main utility.
Same than Lucio.
Juno is dead weight alone, she isn’t Ana/Brig/Moira a Reaper can solo her even if she uses the ring to escape.
She has no damage and is the only support hero who can’t crit to fight back.
