She’s not the only OW2 hero to feel like they don’t fit in the OW universe.
Neither do her visuals or audio, tbh. it all just feels so…cheaply done. Which has been very common these last two years.
I don’t understand why people don’t keep this in mind. I have nearly zero interest in her playstyle, but her appeal is obvious. I’m not mad about it.
Simce Ashe there’s been…12 heroes released? Something like that? I consider 1 a main, and I get semi significant time on like 4 of them. The rest I barely play.
People get so hung up every hero release because they think 100% of the cast needs to speak to them as a player personally or it’s a bad character.
She fits in the universe just like every hero they’ve added.

tbh i felt the same way about kiriko when she came out. whatever though, blizz would do whatever they wanna do. she is super cute and i love her design as a girly girl. but it doesn’t feel “overwatch” and not very badass like everyone else
I can see what you mean, but she does seem OW’y to me.
The first hero to have this effect for me was Baptiste. He felt like a Fortnite character. His loose connection to Talon felt phoned in, and until OW2 gave him the recruited to OW identity (like it did with Pharah, D.Va, and Zarya) he really connected to no one or felt like a part of this universe.
Juno seems to have Mei and Lijiang Tower, plus I’m sure we’ll explore more related to her mom and we’ll outbranch from there. Being an astronaut it also gives her ties to Winston, Hammond, and Sigma for conversation.
Aside from generic anime style heroes, the rest are generic American cartoon style heroes.
All they did was merge Lucio movement with bap gun shooting pattern and illari healing.
She is the laziest hero design to date. It is very obvious they are out of heros that previous talent have designed.
The character model does not fit the game.
But the worst of this game by far is the Trash_maker that absolutely fails on so many levels at building matches.
What the actual (Redacted) is going on with this overly gross system that it cannot build a match at all?!

I’ve felt this about some of the other heroes before, Illari the most recent. It doesn’t much matter if you look at them as interchangeable weapon/ability loadouts.
My guy that is what the OW art style is. It’s a 50/50 anime/western comic stylings.
Alot of it also comes from how capcom did it’s art for games like marvel vs capcom 2.
which is what got me into OW originally.

But let’s not kid ourselves here. The original roster is pretty much all cartoon tropes for instant read personality. I fail to see the difference here.
She does feel out of place.
However, is from outer space, so her oddness definitely feels right. 
You know those cringy Total Drama Island character profile pictures OC’s that tweens used to make? That’s how the new heroes feel. Like fanfiction, which is going to happen when the OG team left.
